Huser SpecialCare is a family-owned provider of services for children and adults with developmental disabilities or autism. Our clients include individuals of varying ages, physical conditions, and cognitive abilities.
Huser SpecialCare is a certified provider of Medicaid Waiver Services under the Community Integration and Habilitation (CIH) Waiver and the Family Supports Waiver. Huser SpecialCare is also accredited by The Council on Accreditation of Rehab Facilities (CARF).
Huser SpecialCare’s staff of dependable and compassionate caregivers includes parents and siblings of individuals with special needs, college nursing or education students, and experienced caregivers. Our caregivers are carefully screened, selected, and trained to meet the specific needs of each client.
Huser SpecialCare works with the individual, his or her family or guardians, the case manager and other service providers to develop the Person-Centered Individualized Support Plan (PCISP) based on the needs, wants, and dreams of our clients and their families. We can provide services in the family home, the client’s home or apartment, and/or in the community. Our services can range from a few hours a week up to 24 hours a day.
Huser SpecialCare is pleased to announce that it is a recipient of Indiana's Direct Service Workforce Grant in 2023. We have or will receive three installments from the grant during 2023. Huser SpecialCare will allocate at least 95% of the funds received to pay quarterly bonuses, overtime costs, mileage reimbursement premiums, and to increase base pay rates for eligible direct support staff. Staff must be actively employed by Huser SpecialCare on 3/31/23, 6/30/23, and 9/30/23 to receive the respective quarterly bonuses.
